I don't like pressing buttons on the camera while the gimbal is live, let alone plugging in that cable. I would suggest reverting firmware if possible. I may have to unload GP studio as I have no need for it.Īs far as the workaround of plugging in the USB cable after hitting the shutter, no thank you. And it's a pain, as every time I plug my camera in, GoPro Studio asks to update my firmware. Now knowing that live video will be lost too, there is no way I will do the update. I like just plugging my camera in and dragging the files across. Since I have an H3+Black, I held off doing the firmware update. This may have only been true on the H3 models. So many GoPro users held off doing the firmware update like me. Weve already reviewed the 399.99 GoPro Hero3+ Black Edition (109.00 at Adorama) (Opens in a new window). I should be more clear, to transfer, they would need to use the GoPro applications, and the camera would not come up as a file folder like it does prior to update. I could be wrong, but this may be coming up now as GoPro users were warned about losing the ability to USB transfer files to a computer after the update as well.
